What's next for Shift?

The formal 45-day Public Review Period for the Rapid Transit Master Plan ended on September 18, 2017; however, there will be more opportunities for you to provide input as we enter the next phase of the project.

Phases 3 and 4 of the Environmental Assessment (EA) include the development of alternative design concepts, and the evaluation of design alternatives and draft Environmental Project Report (EPR). Phase 3 will focus on Pre-planning and Consultation activities for Phase 4: Transit Project Assessment Process (TPAP).

Throughout Phase 3, Shift will continue to develop communications and consultation initiatives to work with the public and stakeholders to identify and evaluate design alternatives for the approved corridors, and develop a preliminary engineering design. Phase 4 is expected to begin March 2018.
